This city is a hidden gem in South America. The atmosphere is very laid-back, the locals are friendly and open to foreigners, and there is a lot of freedom (no stupid regulations or other rules). The infrastructure is definitely not as developed as in other countries, but it is developing very quickly. There are a lot of foreign investments because the country is probably the safest in South America, and the local government is small and right-wing. In the city itself, there is not much to do. T

Summers in Tallinn are very pleasant (if not the best, tbh). There is no need for a car or a bus to move from one point to another in the city center. Do not go to Baltimore. Very unsafe, not much to do, bad roads, bad air, pollution everywhere (including water), and it’s not a nice place to be overall. Many murders and gangs. Do yourself a favor by never going here.

I am from Moscow but grew up abroad. It's a lovely city, it's hard to find another city that matches the amount of cultural activities there are. Every day there are at least 2 festivals, 3 major concerts and tons of shows in theaters. The best season is winter and summer. The amount of decorations in the winter is incomparable (to London for example)! I don't understand why London has so high safety rating. Your phone could be stolen and your bicycle WILL be stolen here (or a part of it). I live here 8.5 years and I experienced the above multiple times. Police seems only cares about crime against person by whatever reason. Insure everything expensive that you own. I would also add that antisocial behaviour is quite common here and teenagers are heavily involved in crimes as police don't do anything with them because of their age. Basically th

“Don’t take your phone out” is some outdated advice… there are several people on the streets and in the metro using phones and taking pictures. Remember that nothing stays the same forever. Rio is safer than many people describe. Use your common sense.

Decent city, mainly because the people are so kind. But, it is a pain to get cash (spent a few hours every couple weeks trying Western Union after WU and never finding one with enough cash), and a lot of places don't take cards/the current exchange rate is a ripoff.
