This is an algorithmic recommendation based on @shaeim's trips history to find places they haven't been to yet that other people with similar travels also went and liked.
This city is not for everyone, if you like shopping malls and big crowded cities it is for you. It may be cheap but if you want to live in a good location with swimming pool, go to nice rooftops and restaurants, use taxis then it is similar cost to western countries. In many areas there are no sidewalks, big and dangerous traffic all the time, pollution, taxis do not want to go with meter, it can get really hot. Definitely try to live by the metro. I don't know exactly how Barcelona is still considered safe but it's far from it. It's probably the most dangerous city to live in Madrid and one of the most dangerous in europe, with constant pick-pocketing and even violent crimes to get your wallet and phone in certain areas. If you like a peaceful life, Barcelona is not the place anymore!!

Lived in Prague for 8 years. It's a beautiful international European city. Never learned Czech, but was fine. Almost all cafes and restaurants have English menus. Budapest was on my list about cities for living. I stayed for 7 days and was a little disappointed People are not very friendly, lots os places very dirty, people smoke a lot and the costs isn't affordable as people indicated here. Its a beautiful place, walkable, people have a good level of education, lots of things to do, but not as i imagined. Even so its a nice place.

One of the worst cities in N.America. Insanely expensive, people are awkward and making friends is difficult. Lots of homeless and mentally ill and drug addicts everywhere. Lots of construction. American corpo work culture with zero benefits of American corpo work culture, low salaries. If you want to live in North American city try to go to US instead, NY, Chicago, Miami, all of these are better.

extremely dirty, very noisy, non walkable, the city is also ugly (except mausoleum and forts, of course). Hard to recommend, unless youโre very found of spirituality. Forget to mention but the food is of course amazing!

Beautiful city and well worth a weekend trip. Pretty safe in most areas, though you should keep an eye on your belongings at the Porta Palazzo market. One thing worth noting is that the air quality can be quite bad, and the drivers are also quite erratic. Probably wouldn't live in Turin long-term, but it's worth a visit for sure.

I am a single female- remote worker from USA with residence permit of 2 years and have to say its not what it used to be. Stormy tropical weather as we speak so unpredictable these days. Izmir is off-the-radar of many tourists and nomads, but it has a lot to offer. I was in Anjuna, Goa for Feb 23 and I can only discourage you from going there. We were recommended the place as an upcoming nomad place but it just doesnt work for nomads at all. Internet is plain terrible. Even in the coworking (NomadGao, Clay etc) and a back up sim, you cant make calls reliably to save your life. Next to no community there, but strong hippie and party crowd there. The streets are very stressful and you have to be comfortable driving a scooter in hectic streets in bad cond

I am reporting from Istanbul. The prices shown here are much lower than the current prices in Istanbul. (Prices are constantly increasing due to high inflation) For example, 1 beer costs $2 in markets, not in cafes! In cafes it is 4$ - also dinner is said to be 4$, but you can only eat a toasted bread for this money. To get an idea, a main course and a drink is at least $10.
